Accordingly, liberals of all hues and stripes support the thesis of the Calvinist preacher, Thomas Malthus, who argued that mankind is doomed to misery because food supplies by nature increase arithmetically while population increases exponentially. A former pro-choice atheist, anthropologist Steven Westley Mosher, had an epiphany when he witnessed the barbaric implementation of the Chinese population control program, leading him to convert to Catholicism, becoming an ardent pro-life activist. Mosher's arguments, espoused in Broken Earth and Journey to the Forbidden China, have made him an anathema to those who diligently work to carry out Satan's agenda to destroy the family, marriage and procreation. As God's called-out ones, we must recognize Satan's Big Lie and pandemic, prevalent and massive deceptions.

During the previous commentary, I used an editorial comment that was most certainly written by someone from an obvious political direction. However, I thought I made it clear throughout the commentary that the point was not the political position of the article, but how Satan has worked "the big lie" from the beginning.
The point was that there was nothing new now, nor 75 years ago, nor thousands of years ago! Satan’s modus operandi in driving lies stands firm, and we need to always be aware of it. Walter C. Langer wrote about Hitler (and, unknowingly, about the spirit behind him):
His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one, and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.
I even specifically asked all to "Please note, even though the author is describing a strong case for President Trump, here it also describes many on all sides of issues of carnal minded men these days!”
However, even though these commentaries are meant, in the main, to be observations that will help us recognize the often very subtle evil of the world we have been called out of so we do not become entangled in its subterfuge that is being driven by the ruler of a world that is enmity against God, that commentary brought on the following email, which reads in part:
The commentary on 13-April-2019, The Big Lie, is a disgrace to all Christians. I can only hope that now that the full report which is alluded to in the commentary is out, and everyone can read it by oneself, you publish a sequel denouncing both the attempt to manipulate public opinion by the misrepresentation of the content of such report, and of a government that has been lying since day one, demonizing everyone who dared to call them out, and who was callous enough to accept the help of a foreign government enemy of our country. God is watching!
The battle lines are so sharply drawn that even though I tried to make it clear that I was only using an article written from one perspective for the purposes of exposing obfuscation that results from not making truth our reality, the main point became blurred.
So to any of you that took this first look at The Big Lie at face value because I did a poor job of disconnecting the point from the political agenda, I sincerely apologize.
God is indeed watching!
We have been given the privilege to overcome this world that still has a pull on us to try to draw out the old man, as Joe just talked about ["The Will to Change"]. But through the truth that is ONLY in Jesus Christ, we can overcome this world by the grace of God.
Jesus Christ made our position clear that we are in this world but not part of it! We are not here to justify any man or political party, and certainly not to get in God’s way, as He is moving everything toward the end He desires. Please keep in mind scriptures like Proverbs 21:1-2:
Proverbs 21:1-2 The kings heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water, He turns it whichever way He will. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord ponders the heart.
We are living in a society that is quickly descending into a moral pit so deep that God is allowing the severe consequences of our actions to become a reality. But we need to understand how to live in such a time in righteousness—but not in self-righteousness—while making sure we are firm in what we know and believe.
We must recognize that Satan’s Big Lie has been aimed at one vital piece of God’s plan from the beginning, and it is up to each of us to maintain the steadfast endurance and faith in personally protecting it as it is within our power to do so. We must recognize Satan’s traps that society has fallen into, calling good evil and evil good.
With this in mind, the following is from Steven Mosher, who is the head of the Population Research Institute, which is a non-profit research group whose goals are to expose the myth of overpopulation and to expose human rights abuses committed in population control programs, which subtly mask themselves as humanitarian efforts to save the planet from the supposed overpopulation.
In 1979, Mr. Mosher was a pro-choice, atheist expert in world population, and probably for this reason, China gave him access few Westerners have had into an intimate view of their society. They shared government policy documents with him and allowed him to witness women being forced to have abortions under their “one-child policy.” Mosher found the experience so traumatic, as he witnessed the barbaric assault on family, he reconsidered his convictions and eventually became a pro-life Roman Catholic.
Since then, he has testified before Congress as an expert on world population, on China, and on human rights abuses, and has spoken on television and radio. He is a respected author of books and numerous articles.
It is interesting in light of what we will be reading in a moment from Steven Mosher that this current myth of overpopulation took root all the way back in 1798, with a leading religious minister in England by the name of Thomas Malthus.
In his treatise entitled, An Essay on the Principle of Population, Malthus contended that food production increased incrementally, but human population increased exponentially. Malthus concluded that soon there would not be enough food to feed the growing population. His solution was not to feed the hungry, but to let them starve, lest the family suffer in the future. This became the royal policy in England that, Mosher maintains, continues to kill people today.
Thomas Malthus regarded the ideals of future improvement in the lot of humanity with skepticism, considering that throughout history a segment of every human population seemed relegated to poverty. He explained this phenomenon by arguing that population growth generally expanded in times and in regions of plenty until the size of the population relative to the primary resources caused distress. Malthus wrote,
Yet in all societies, even those that are most vicious, the tendency to a virtuous attachment [i.e., marriage] is so strong, that there is a constant effort towards an increase of population. This constant effort tends to subject the lower classes of the society to distress and to prevent any great permanent amelioration of their condition. ("An Essay on the Principle of Population, Chapter II)
Malthus then went on in his turgid population control theory to lay out the details of a rising and waning population, and basically blamed the so-called "overpopulation problem” on the human drive for, as stated, “the virtuous attachment [in marriage].”
Please keep in mind what God proclaimed in Genesis 1:27-28:
Genesis 1:27-28 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
Satan’s Big Lie has always been in place to overthrow this virtuous attachment, just as we are witnessing today.
Today, the Malthus Principle of overpopulation is alive and kicking, because the source and MO are the same. Men swirling in the perversion of social and sexual relationships are decrying the repressiveness of a patriarchal society, buying into the lie. But this is an oppressiveness.
In China, a woman must have a government-issued permit to conceive a child, or the government will coerce her into having an abortion and sterilization. Non-compliant couples may lose their jobs, home, or even freedom, in “family planning" jails. If an “illegal” child escapes the abortionist, this so-called “black” child is treated as an illegal alien and denied access to public schools and medical care.
In Mosher’s book, A Mother’s Ordeal: One Woman’s Fight Against China’s One-Child Policy, he wrote about a Chinese woman whose job was to implement China’s one-child policy—until she became pregnant with an “illegal” child herself. Turning to Population Research Institute for help, she fled to the United States, where she had her child, and came to faith in Christ.
The situation begs the questions Mosher raised about the political consequences of accepting the overpopulation myth. “What will happen when there are not enough workers for the massive industry in China? They will probably then force women to have children,” Mosher concluded. He remarked that China instead has an “over government” problem.
Pessimists point to poverty, poor living conditions, and food scarcity as outcomes of overpopulation. Mosher responded that, especially with technology, there is enough food to feed everyone. He blamed hunger on poor access to food. Mosher wrote,
In 1960-62 China had the worst famine in the world Chairman Mau forced villagers into communes, and took away family owned land. He separated men and women, and put children in nurseries. Loss of family structure and family farms resulted in decreased food production. He sent the army into villages to grab food away from the people, (thus) wiping out villages. Forty-five million people died in this famine. There was no reason for starving, except for interference with food production and distribution.
Mosher rejected the connection between overpopulation and global warming, as another part of the lie. He concluded that the myth that we are running out of food and water is no excuse for population control through government rules, abortions, or sterilization. “God has, and always will, provide for people,” he said.
Mr. Mosher goes on to show what happens in a godless society being driven by Satan’s subtle lies.
Additionally, PRI countered the errors of the Gates Foundation, and this helped cut off money to the UN population fund that supported China’s policy. He was hopeful at the time this was written a few years back that Planned Parenthood will likewise lose funding with more pro-life people now in all areas of government. He said,
Unless we encourage marriage and childbearing, we have a poor future. The tax plan being considered increases the child tax credit from $1000 per child to $2500. We need more people to preserve Social Security, decrease the national debt and (promote) economic growth 4% to 5%.
To counter the overpopulation lies, Mr. Mosher said we must remove this myth, embedded in school textbooks since 1972, and replace it with the facts.
But now as we are seeing the opposite take place, as God removes His hand and our society spirals down in sin, we are witnessing Satan’s Big Lie that he has been pushing from the beginning that the problem is the "virtuous attachment" in marriage! It is a lie, but everyone is buying into it because they are not thinking.
Satan’s big lie continues to this day in everything he has tried to do to undermine God’s plan for the holy marriage of a man and a woman to produce godly seed, to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.
Society is suffering the consequences now of believing the lie and destroying the virtuous marriage attachment, which is the bedrock of any nation, as God planned.
What we must do is recognize the disorder and chaos around us from the lie, and do everything we can personally to make our own marriages the productively virtuous relationships that God has given us, and teach our children what it really means to be men, women, husbands, wives, fathers, and mothers, according to the truth and not according to the lie.
Don’t let Satan’s big lie that God’s biggest blessing to mankind to bear and raise His children to fill the earth is an archaic restraint of an ignorantly repressive patriarchal society. God is watching in detail the personal relationships of all to whom He Has given His spirit to live righteously by His grace in an unrighteous world!
